When I first meet with a client to help them achieve their health goals, yes we talk about exercise & the foods that they eat, but we also focus on the relationship stress has with our body & hormones.Â
Our endocrine system (which controls our hormone processes, like our sex & cortisol (stress) hormones), is so sensitive that if any level of hormone increases or decreases, everything goes off balance. So when you go off the pill cue huge disruption to your system, but then add stress? You are making it harder for yourself!Â

These are the top strategies, besides breathwork and yoga principles that work for my girlies who are juggling it all â¤ď¸
Step 1: Start noticing your âautomatic yes.â Before you immediately agree to plans, requests, or commitments, pause and ask: âDoes this serve my energy or drain it?â Your future self needs you to protect your resources.
Step 2: Set up your evening after work for actual rest. Put your phone in another room 30 minutes before bed (I know, itâs a crazy thought). Or try some gentle stretches, dim the lights, maybe some herbal tea - your future self will thank you for quality sleep.
Step 3: Make ONE decision this week purely based on what YOUR body needs. Skip the dinner thatâll stress you out. Choose the workout that feels good instead of punishing. Say yes to that thing youâve been putting off because you feel âselfish.â
Hereâs what Iâve learned: When you start honoring what your body actually needs, everything else falls into place. Your energy stabilizes, your confidence grows, and you stop living your life on everyone elseâs terms.
That future version of yourself is not just physically strong but sheâs learned how to be calm and grounded even when life gets chaotic.

The thing is, when your stressed about money, your digestion is a mess and youâre running on fumes, youâre not showing up as your best self anywhere, not at work, not in relationships, not in life.
When I finally got serious about cycle syncing my energy stabilized, my brain fog cleared, and I started making better decisions in every area of my life. Including money decisions.
Itâs like my body became this reliable foundation that everything else could build on.
Okay, so how do we actually make this work? Iâve learned a few tricks (and my husband, being a financial planner, has taught me even more):
1. The Prep-Ahead Money Saver: Sunday meal prep isnât just about convenience, itâs about not spending $15 on random lunches when your blood sugar crashes. When I started prepping even just 3 meals ahead, I saved about $120 a month. Thatâs literally two months of yoga classes!
2. The âSeason Passâ Approach: Instead of drop-in classes at $25 each, I started looking for studios that offer seasonal packages or unlimited monthly deals. Itâs more upfront, but when you break it down per class, itâs usually half the cost. Plus, Iâm way more likely to actually go when Iâve already invested.
3. Cycle Syncing! Getting more in tune with your body isnât just empowering, but you are able to create a productivity blueprint tied to your bodyâs energy dips.
